FREE GROOMING WORKSHOP

BEGINNERS WERE WELCOME!!

Early in 2026 , the Show Chair had negotiated for a block of rooms with full or queen size beds at less than $120 a night- with first dog free - (not including tax & fees) at a clean, comfortable hotel just 17 minutes away from the showgrounds! Unfortunately the deal was a limited time  offer, so not everyone signed up in time. Even after the special offer ended, the hotel price was affordable at $140 a night plus tax.

A FREE GROOMING WORKSHOP,  led by Pamela Wilson had been  offered for  Sat. May 30, 2026 , the day after the 2026 STCNE Specialties and Scottish Terrier Festival. It was supposed to have been held at the Cracker Barrel Showgrounds during the Ladies' Dog Club All Breed Dog show, but Mother Nature intervened!
Driving rain, low temperature and winds so high that the tents were lifting their poles out of the ground caused the day's dog show to be cancelled!
Undaunted, four of the eight people who had signed up to attend the workshop rerouted themselves to the pet friendly hotel room of Pamela Wilson, where CH. Kingsdale's Blue Chip volunteered his hairy self to the impressive ministrations of Ms. Wilson!
